ME!! :)
My name is Erica Jones! I am a senior at Bethel Tate High School. I am so excited to graduate in three months! I am trying so hard to do my best with my school work but it is so hard knowing I only have three months left!!!!! I have had quite a journey throughout my high school years.
Freshman year was not my favorite. I feel as if freshman year was the worst with me but alright with school. My freshman year I met so many new friends in different grades. For me I still dressed as a middle schooler, my hair has never really changed yet, and my teeth were still really bad. Look wise for me, not the best. For my classes, I loved Biology but HATED Social Studies! I liked some of my teachers but didn't like others. I took Spanish and I absolutley LOVED it!! For my first homecomings I wore long dresses that were not even mine. I really didn't like those. I fell down the stairs my freshman year. I had a servere sprain in my ankle and was on crutches for a week but used the elevator for a month. I also got braces. My freshman year was not the best.
Sophmore year was so BORING!!!!!! The only thing that I remember sophmore year was sophmore days at Grant Career Center. I took Carpentry and Teacher Academy. I love building and working with my hands!! I absolutley LOVED Carpentry! I have wanted to be a teacher since 2nd grade so I had decided to take Teacher Academy. I took Spanish 2 and I wasn't as in love with it. That was pretty much my sophmore year.
Junior year was filled with all sorts of things. I took Spanish 3 and HATED it so much! I got my driver's liscense in November and my first job in December. I was so excited to say the least. Junior year is when I became really close to Nikki. I also lost a friend that year. I lost who was my best friend who completly changed once she turned 18. She was not the girl I knew all of school. I also went to Prom for the first time. I went with a friend. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! It was not fun at all!!!!! We didn't dance at all. It was so awkward!! I will never do that again. At the end of junior year I got my braces off!!!! That pretty much sums up my Junior year.
So, Senior year, THE BEST BY FAR!!!!!! I have done so much this year! I am in the Teacher Academy half day at Grant. I attended my first high school football game. I have met my new best friend, Taylor! We are both dorming together at Wilmington College in the fall. I have made a lot of friends at Grant. I got inducted into The National Technical Honor Society! I have Competitions coming up this week for state in Ohio and for Nationals next month in Florida!!!! Graduation is in 3 months and I am pumped!!! Throughout all of high school and still now I still do not have a boyfriend. Not exactly what kids imagine to be high school. That is High School so far!!
If I could live anywhere I would want to live in Georgia. I love the country. If I could be anything I wanted I would choose to be a human. DUH!!! If I could do anything I wanted to whenever I wanted to, I would go shopping as long as I didn't have a budget.
In 5 years I see myself graduated from college looking to pursue my career in education. I also hope to be getting married soon around this time. In 20 years I hope to be married and have children at this point. In 35 years I hope to have children that are grown, enjoying my teaching career, and spending time with my husband. In 50 years from now I plan on having grandchildren (hopefully) and enjoying my retirement with my husband.
THAT'S MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
