Cupcake Wars
To complete our master piece, there were many steps. For our first step, we gathered cans that we painted and stacked one on top of the other. Second, we cut sticks that we had picked up outside. Third, we hot glued our sticks to the painted cans to create a tree feeling. Fourth, we painted newspaper green that I took home and shredded so we could use it for grass. Fifth, we arranged the cans on top of the painted cardboard. Sixth, we put plain cupcakes on top of our display. Seventh, we rolled out laffy taffy and cut it into leaf like shapes that we detailed to go on our trees. Eighth, we researched crayola facts. Crayola companies are the most earth friendly companies. Ninth, we started icing the base for our colored pencil tops. Tenth, we created our shrubs by using a grass icing tip. Eleventh, we wrote little facts and hot glued them onto colored pencils that were dipped in wax. We then stuck the facts in the shrubs. Twelfth, we decorated the tops of our cupcakes to look like colored pencil tops. Finally, we put all of our cupcakes on our now glorified display.
